NewOpto offers Mil-spec laser utilizes the latest technology to deliver unprecedented performance and reliability. The lasers are designed and proven to operate in difficult mil-spec operational environments where vibration and temperature variation can be problematic. We can offer Mil-spec lasers at the fundamental Nd:YAG wavelength (1.06µm) as well as two commonly desired alternative, 532nm through second harmonic generation, and 1.5µm by utilizing an optical parametric oscillator.
Our newest product offering is designed for laser radar and SWIR imaging applications where space constraints are extreme. The electronics and laser head can be packaged in alternate formats to fit in even tighter spaces. We can also provide alternate Nd:YAG harmonics (532, 355, 266nm) and higher output energies (up to 500mJ at 1064nm and 150mJ at 1.5µm). Other wavelengths and other performance characteristics are available upon request.
The short pulse, high peak power, conduction cooled design makes the lasers amenable to use in remote sensing applications. A set of specifications are included, such as Remote Sensing, LIDAR/LADAR, Batheymetry, Collision avoidance, Range finding, Materials Processing.
